Public guided tours

Saturdays and Sundays at 3 pm

To enable us to prepare, please register in advance for your choice of tour. Tours last approximately 60 minutes and are conducted in German. Children are welcome. To book a tour, either book a ticket online or notify us by email to fuehrung(at)philara.de.
If you would like a tour in another language, or for a private group, please book a private tour.

Private guided tours

We also offer special group tours of all our exhibitions as an exclusive experience for you, your family, friends, club, or for work-related events. Book a private tour online or by email to fuehrung(at)philara.de. Visits to the museum outside our regular opening hours (Fridays to Sundays) are unfortunately only possible as part of a guided tour.

In German: €95 per tour + €5 per person
In other languages: €105 per tour + €5 per person

School groups and non-profit organisations

Would you like to book a guided tour for your school class, student group, or non-profit organisation during our regular opening hours? We will give you free admission and administration fees, and you only pay for the guide! We are happy to work with you and your group to design an age-appropriate tour of the exhibition.

Four rooms on the top floor, a permanent art installation, and the 500 m2 roof terrace are unfortunately only accessible by stairs

Public transport

From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof train station, take tram services 709 or 708 to Birkenstrasse.
The nearest S-Bahn stop within walking distance is Düsseldorf Wehrhahn. You can also travel by U-Bahn from Düsseldorf Altstadt to Wehrhahn.

Parking

Unfortunately, parking at the Philara Collection is restricted. We recommend that you arrive by public transport or taxi.

Barrier-free access

The entrance area and the majority of the exhibition and event spaces are barrier free. By prior arrangement (by phone or email), people with disabilities are welcome to park in the courtyard. We can also provide a folding seat or a wheelchair for use during your visit. Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome.

The Collection also provides a wheelchair-accessible toilet, baby changing facilities, and hygiene products.
